Stop eating shushi and shashimi ? Are you serious... ?

Over the years, I have received all kinds of emails. While some are rather useful, there are also some huge pile of junk emails. So, what you are about to read is an email I received few days ago.

Useful or a junk, you decide. It's freaking scary though.

According to the article, Mr Shota Fujiwara, a Japanese man from Gifu prefecture complain incessantly about a persistent headache. He enjoys eating shashimi and shushi very much to the point of trying to get as 'alive and fresh' as can be to satisfy his appetite.

3 years ago, Mr Shota develops a severe headache. Well, he thought it was migrain and stress from work. Hell no. He seeks medical help when he started losing his psychomotor(mental) skills.

Upon closer inspection by a specialist on his scalp, the doctor noticed small movements beneath his skin. Yikes....

After a local anesthetic to his scalp, the doctor discovered the cause when tiny worms crawled out. Yiii.....

Thus, a major surgery was immediately called for. The extend of the infestation was horrific.

What we can learn from here is that tapeowrms, roundworms and whatever worms which abound in all meat in particular (in the case above- fishes) can only be killed by cooking it or freezing it.

So, the next time you eat shushi and shashimi, think twice.

As for me, I don't enjoy eating raw meat and fish. It has to be overly cooked. ^.^

it's a fake pic, cos if you have to do an operation on the cap, all hair should be shaved before cos of the infection.
