A Monkey ... on my ground !!!

Who like monkeys I wonder?

I know very well that my mum is not very fond of monkeys.

Actually, so am I. I find monkeys a little too naughty, restless and noisy. Not that I am afraid of monkeys, I just don't like them lurking around or getting too close to me.

Anyway, about a month ago, a monkey intruded my ground. The thing is my little brother manage to capture the whole scene.

Well, it is just a matter of ... what ... seconds! ... before my dog - Puppy are able to sank his teeth on that monkey.

Puppy is a very active dog. Puppy likes to bite everything that moves ... that grab its attention ... that agitated it. Take for example, over the years, of things that Puppy bit so readily :-

Well, that's Puppy for you ...

It is good to have Puppy as Puppy protects my family from dangerous creatures ... especially cobra snake.

Back to the monkey business, a few weeks ago, I found that particular monkey lurking outside ... eating fruits from trees planted by my dad. So, that's how the monkey survives ... you fruit stealer !!!

That is the last time I saw the monkey though. Wonder what the monkey is up to now... ???

Farewell then, monkey ... and don't you dare coming back onto and into my ground ... my dogs will be waiting excitingly. Frankly speaking, I don't want a dead monkey on my ground, no I don't.

Happy Chap Goh Meh people ... its finally the final day of Chinese New Year. I'll miss Chinese New Year dearly for sure ...

some monkeys used to come to my house too. they would sit happily on the fence to feast on some small fruits that grow on my palm tree. i didnt know those fruits can be eaten anyway. so irritating.

but its a pity too. many years back, my housing area used to be a jungle or forest, or something like that. now all the trees are gone, the monkeys have no where to go, and no source for food, and thus, resort to the housing area to get food. so pitiful.

well i dont know if i find them more irritating or pitiful. if they were good animals like dogs, im sure people would love them just as much. awww....

anyway, happy chap goh meh. did you see the moon?
its super huge and super bright. SO PRETTY~

I have a friend who used to keep a monkey. Loved it but unfortunately had to let her go because the monkey bit some kids. Actually, in the monkey's defense, kids used to tease the monkey and threw stones at her. :(
But, I wouldn't want a wild monkey r sake come visit me. Cockroaches are still tolerable! :D
